Take time to recharge and refresh
We all try to get the most out of our daily lives. Time to rest and relax is an important part of achieving this goal. In the rural environment along the banks of the river Waal peace and quiet are king. Take a break from your hectic life. Enjoy the comfortable rooms with the best beds in the Netherlands. Relax in the Hot Spring Spa or with a gin and tonic in the orchard serenaded by the birds. Get on a bike and discover the beautiful Betuwe. Re-energising is what you do at De Heeren van Tuil.
Open air Hot Spring Spa
Behind the farmhouse is the renovated haybarn. A monumental experience to ‘bubble’ outdoors in both summer and winter. The walled haybarn offers both shelter and privacy. Open the doors and you look onto the orchard. Re-energise with a glass of bubbly. Book a private hour for two during your stay, which includes the use of two softly laundered bathrobes.
Dinner at De Heeren
We offer on a regular basis the chance to enjoy dinner at De Heeren. Be surprised by the authentic dishes prepared using as far as possible local produce. Hospitality is our forte.
Savour a good drink
In the lounge you will find an excellent collection of wines, champagne or a gin and tonic. The collection has been put together by Luuc van Boort, the distinguished wine merchant whose premises are in Zaltbommel. During your stay in the B&B help yourself to the bottle of your choice. All we ask is that you make a note of your choice and we will charge it to your room at the end of your stay.
De Heeren van Tuil is located between cycle route junctions 76 and 79. The ideal spot to start an enchanting ride through ‘River country’ and the Betuwe. If you use an electric bike you can charge it at De Heeren van Tuil’s own charging point.
