Willem Bleuland van Oordt (born in 1966) and Joost Jan Stolker (born in 1965) are De Heeren van Tuil, proud owners of De Lindenhof, the historic farmhouse built in 1720.
Hospitality is in Willem’s (1966) blood. He grew up in De Kastanjehof, Lage Vuursche, owned by his parents. As a child he would serve coffee and cake on the terrace. After having spent time working in Germany, Switzerland and England, Willem ended up working in the hotel industry in Amsterdam where he was general manager of several hotels. Because of his managerial duties he no longer had time for what is at the root of his business: hospitality. At De Heeren van Tuil he is again able to devote his time to this.
As a psychiatrist Joost (1965) knows the importance of relaxing. He studied medicine in Amsterdam and later specialised in psychiatry. Joost is a real workaholic working with people who suffer from burn-out. Day dreaming, lazing about, enjoying the peace and quiet and beautiful rural surroundings are vital to him. After a hectic life in the centre of Utrecht Joost now chooses to live in the country on the banks of the river Waal in Tuil.
